In 2017, the Curtin University Degree Show featured a selection of works from my Honours project 'Lonley Together.' Lonely Together was a project which aimed to answer the research question: How can process-based paintings evoke an emotional response, as a means of participating in the discourse around loneliness and contemporary painting? This project's influence can still be seen in my practice today, exploring concepts of loneliness, mindfulness and time through evocative oil paintings.
